the 6-hour school week
A - structure and flow
The 6-hour school week is designed for families that supplement their regular educational system, or undergo hybrid schooling, homeschooling, worldschooling and/or unschooling.
September 1 - June 30
2 online classes per week
Thurs and Fri: 9:30 - 11:30 am CST
120 minutes per class
Small group of 4 - 6 learners

It is recommended that each student has a one-on-one assessment scheduled at the beginning and the end of each year.

Please come prepared to learn for each class. You will need the following:

c - yearly terms
The 4-hour school week is broken down into 3 terms to allow families time to travel and experience the richest form of life. If desired, homework will always be given during each break.

d - communication and evidence of learning
Each family had the option to download Google Classroom which are used every class to communicate important information, such as updates, evidence of learning, homework and more. It is available as an app or on the desktop.
e - tuition
Payments are completed online each month that classes run. January, April, July and August have no reoccurring payments.
September - November - $290 USD monthly
December - $180 USD
February - March - $290 USD monthly
May - June - $290 USD monthly
Membership fee $75.00 USD - covers program seats and admin costs. Membership fees require a renewed every 2 years.
Assessments (if desired) are $50.00 USD and require a one-on-one session which typically takes up to 60 minutes to complete.
tips to support the learner at home
Create a home environment in which learners become active beings, both mentally and physically.
Carefully plan out conscious and curricular goals, including the use of mind awareness, print awareness, and more.
Turn public and private family experiences into learning opportunities.
Expose learners to opportunities that challenge their conscious mind on varying mental and physical levels.
Engage in reading and drawing daily, including themes chosen by the learner.
Model and engage in kinesthetic activities with the learner that activates many senses, such as making collages or listening to audiobooks.
Make learning public. Display creations, both artistic and literacy based, in your home.
Do not automatically correct what you believe to be a "wrong answer." Seek to understand the learner's thought process first.
Praise all efforts.
Give yourself and the learner grace in knowing that you are human. Slowing down and surrendering to the journey will suit you well.

I am a deep soul, tracing my steps backwards
Everything in life has led me to this moment, here and now.I am an educator in the realm of linguistic academia, using my passion in reading, writing and art to revive the learnings we as humans receive. Upon finishing my Masters in Education, I realized that years of studying led me here on purpose; to a space where I can transform what and how I learn. In turn, offering this to others to encourage a new educational model is my niche. Stepping into the paradigm of physically co-creating my reality has been of great service to me. Things, however, weren't always this way.Rewind with me for a minute. Prior to owning such clarity, I entered a season of life where I felt disconnected from everything. Part of this was from becoming more consciously aware, and part of this was from birthing 3 humans. Motherhood cast me into an entirely different paradigm where who I was at my core became challenged and tested in the most difficult ways. My quest to understand myself, guide my children, and seek answers to the deepest questions of life grew and grew. Naturally, I looked inward.I had everything, and yet, my soul was calling for more. Something had to change. I stumbled across a writer by the name of Dan Koe. I studied his work, inside and out, which led me to many authors who wrote about genius principles. Koe's philosophies spoke to me so much that I unsubscribed from everything that wasn't serving me, and tuned into his practices; things that were serving me. When I saw him in person in Phoenix Arizona (2022), I knew this was a universal sign.I stepped heavily into the modalities of reading, reflecting, writing, painting and spending time in solitude with meditative practices. Slowly, but with force, these areas guided my healing phases. Like a domino effect, I was introduced to many authors and philosophers who not only shared the same values as me, but offered a different and more energetic approach to life and productivity. From this, the principles of astral projection entered my life, and it is here that clarity came knocking at my door. As I questioned why I was yearning to master the art of what I desired, I soon realized - the answers were within me all along.
We are not so different you and I
Our passions call us higher for significant reasons. These interests are placed within us because they're tied to our purposes here on earth. As I began acknowledging this scientific fact, I started to feel my soul pulling me further and further away from the semantics of education, rooted in top-down standardized approaches, and more towards learning with the whole being. In my experience, educational institutions have encompassed anything but working with the whole learner. I am here to change that narrative.This desire to want more for myself and my family, has created a curiosity and desire within me that I am forever grateful for.

Education is at an all-time low
All over the world, schools are overcrowded. Statistics Canada reported that western Canadian schools can have as many as 57 students in one class. Intensive supports, including intellectual and learning disabilities are rising without a projected decline. As our world gets sicker and as learners arrive at school with more challenges than ever before, the job of educating falls on all of us.The goal: to provide learners with experiences that fuel their future.This goal is far from what traditional educational systems offer.
learning comes from curiosity
The average teacher and learner is overworked and overstimulated.The daunting role of a teacher is filled with top-down practices where the driver of assessment protocols takes away from the everyday purpose of teaching. Our data driven world lives in a fast-paced environment, but what are we doing with this information?Encompassed within this, the day to day classroom is filled with stimulating environments and energies, unexpected situations and events, including behavioural challenges, countless parent meetings, supervision, extracurricular expectations, fundraisers, and constant scaffolding and differentiation as new students arrive. The majority of the day is filled with class management protocol and of course, distraction. The list goes on and on throughout the year.The daunting role of a learner has an abundance of information thrown at them for 6.5 hours a day, 5 days per week. At the heart of this lies a "drill and kill" philosophy, where memorization produces "achievement." In short, creativity is being killed, daily.

Traditional schools were not designed with the learner in mind.Do quick Google search on "John Rockefeller - school reasoning." He publicly quoted "I don't want a nation of thinkers, I want a nation of workers." His systems were set in place as a means to train obedient citizens and future factory workers.Fast forward to today, the harmony within schools is broken for many reasons.

Throughout my work experience, I have engaged in many conversations, asked questions, reflected, journaled key takeaways, researched and written paper after paper. These practices kept bringing me back to state of continual reflection.If creativity and passion in education stops, learning stops.Learners require these three components to choose their own future, instead of being assigned one:

My approaches and resources are designed to show learners a different educational model; one that breaks free from conventional moulds and shows them a different system.

Nobody can replace your thinking patterns.
Your belief system, ideas, habits, creativity, purposes, experiences and skills are yours to keep; nurture them.
